This Privacy Policy explains how BMI Health Metrics (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our website and our browser-based BMI Calculator, BMR calculator and TDEE calculator.

1. No account, no server storage for calculator data

Our calculator runs entirely in your browser. Height, weight, age, gender, activity level, results, history and unit preferences are stored locally using localStorage. We do not send your measurements to a server and we do not require sign-up. You can clear history at any time with the “Clear” button — it deletes the local data immediately.

2. What we do collect

We may collect basic, anonymized technical data if you contact us (e.g., name, email and message you provide via the Contact Us form). We use this only to respond to your request. We do not sell your data.

3. Cookies and local storage

We use local storage to remember your theme (light/dark) and unit preferences (metric/imperial/both) and your calculator history. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent.

4. Third parties

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and a Tailwind script is loaded from a CDN to render the site. Those providers may receive your IP address and browser information as part of normal web delivery. No calculator inputs are shared with them.

5. Your choices

• Clear calculator history and reset preferences in your browser’s site storage.
• Explore the calculator without an account — all features work directly in your browser.

6. Children

This tool is intended for general informational use. BMI interpretation for children and teenagers differs from adult BMI ranges and should be discussed with a clinician. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice on the site.
